Since The MorningStar Academy is accredited, does that mean it offers credits?

Accreditation means that the academic program was approved by an official accrediting agency. Accreditation is often confused with the ability of an academy institution to grant credits. Accreditation and the granting of and acceptance of credits are three very different issues.

MorningStar Academy grants credits for its courses because it is a registered school that has the authority from the state to give credit for successful completion of a course.

However, we cannot guarantee, nor can any private or public school, that the incoming school or college will accept our credits. We recommend that you check with the institution that you want to accept our credits prior to your decision to enroll at The MorningStar Academy.
