Home School Portfolios - State Home School Requirements
Welcome to our State Home School Requirements page. Please view the list of states below to find out if your state requires a home schooling portfolio. A home schooling portfolio is a collection of documents including but not limited to curriculum information, attendance registry, academic progress, grades, and work samples. Whether or not you need a portfolio to stay legal varies from state to state.
Even if your state does not require a home schooling portfolio, we encourage you to acquire one anyway. They are imperative when hunting for colleges and transferring schools. Secondly, state education laws are changing all the time. It is a good strategy to be prepared for anything with the proper documentation. The MorningStar Academy offers home schooling portfolio development services to all of our students. This way, you don’t have to spend hours throughout the year compiling information and logging time.
Order your Portfolio by calling 1-866-STUDY-20 or by e-mailing MemberServices@TheMorningStarAcademy.org.
