You awoke this morning to bright beams of warm sunlight blanketing your body. Deciding that today would be a great day for some gardening, you shuffle your homeschoolers off to start their history lesson and head outside with trowel in hand. You praise God for blessing you with such wonderful weather and for providing you with a humble backyard to decorate with lilies.

Before long, you're up to your knees in mud. A stranger appears at the edge of your yard.

"Hi, I'm Michael, your new neighbor!" he exclaims.

You introduce yourself and talk about the weather for a while.

"Listen, I'd really like to try to get to know you more. We're new in town and we really don't have any friends close by. Would you like to join us for dinner tonight?"

"Oh that sounds nice, Michael..." you start to reply before he cuts you off with a question.

"You know my boyfriend is professional chef, do you like Vietnamese food?"

The sound of tires squealing to a stop whirls through your mind. Boyfriend?

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?

Politely decline their invitation without providing a reason. After all, the Bible tells us not to associate with gays.
Politely decline their invitation stating that you have other plans despite the fact that you don't. That way he'll get the message.
Politely decline their invitation explaining that you feel uncomfortable interacting with homosexuals. I'm sure he's used to it.
Accept the invitation and spend the evening with them just as you would with your fellow believers. Homosexuals are human after all. It's not they have a contagious disease!
Accept the invitation and spend the evening decrying homosexuality. These people need to know what God thinks about their lifestyles.
Accept the invitation and spend the evening discussing the fate of their eternal souls. Homosexuals need salvation too.
